Europe in the Classroom
In July 2016, The Academy at Shotton Hall worked in partnership with Europe Direct to put on a Multiplier event called Building Bridges This was our Multiplier event where we reported on the work our school had done in promoting a European dimension in the classroom. The opening speech was delivered by Mrs Lesley Powell CBE principal of Shotton Hall where she presented the benefits of internationalism from the perspective of OFSTED and the Social Moral Spiritual and Cultural demands of an English school. It continued with Patricia Serrano Rubio describing her experience of working as an Erasmus intern. Rene Wellen and Beatriz Bartolome
